Under matting of Type I, lengthwise. This burial lay on 10 cm. of debris over burial A. Below was the original burial A, intact, with upper matting of Type A, lengthwise partly preserved over arms. Left arm appeared under jaw, more tightly contracted than right arm, hand at nose. Right hand back of left hand, the finger bones of right hand stained a bright green from malachite, small particles of which lay among them. Lying on wrist of right arm was the body of some small animal, skull missing. Length of vertebral column about 12 cm. (shown on Figure 75 d). B was of enormous frame but only about 18 years old, the epiphyses showing no signs of joining up. Bones salty and fragile. No trace of clothing or hair. Under matting of Type I, lengthwise." | ||||
